Tuesday, January 12, 2010 a massive earthquake struck Haiti.  The earthquake registered as a 7.0 on the Richter scale.  To those affected by the earthquake in Haiti, we send our deepest condolences.  We give thanks for those who have survived and grieve for those missing or lost during this tragedy.  Our hearts go out to families who have lost loved ones or are waiting for news of the missing.  Natural disasters are difficult to foresee and even more difficult to recover from.  Whether near or far, events like this affect individuals across the globe.
