I love this article. Although as others have mentioned, gas is way higher now. I am about to do a persasive speech in school on persuading everyone to buy hybrid or pure electric. I do not own a hybrid or an electric vehicle, so that may not go well if that question goes up. Great article though!

Been patiently waiting since its conception in the Courier Mail April 2001 . Cannot believe if something like this is genuine why it is taking so long to get into production patents or not . A world wide patent only lasts 15 years so some will be due to run out before its in production .

I Will never go to Zanesville. I just cannot believe that Begnal
Tigers and other animals were so callously gunned down. Animals can be tranquilized at night. I have seen it. Could they not have explored other avenues besides the gun?? I am saddened and dissappointed in the response to this carnage. Humans are caretakers of innocent. (and dangerous) animals. People could have stayed in doors and authorities should have shown true wisdom by a calm, responsible restraint to capture these animals!

the contamination of water supplies does indeed seem a very real, and increasing, threat. one bigger issue that I, at least, have not seen addressed is the increasing overall destabilization of Planet Earth. I’m a liberal arts grad, not a scientist, but am trained to critically analyze… is anyone else concerned about how the simultaneous oil drilling (vertical) and natural gas drilling (also horizontal) are further destabilizing the earth’s tectonic plates? I can’t help believing that the unprecedented tsunamis and earthquakes we’ve experienced very recently are but a prelude to our self-induced geologic annihilation. at that point, tainted drinking water will seem a minor complaint.

if my thinking is way off, I would love to have someone reeducate me on this… I could be sleeping much better.
