Green Granny~

Then came GreenCupboards.  Having worked with the same boss for 15 years, I watched him sprout the idea of a company that would help people learn about being green as well as make it easy for them to find effective, truly green products for purchase.  One of his students at a local university asked if he could take the idea for the business plan competition.  He did that and won first place!  It was fascinating to see the concept evolve and I gradually began assisting with research to help the company get going.  Wow!!  I was amazed at how many different types of green products are available.  Now I actually look down “that aisle” at the grocery store to see what is offered.  In addition, my heightened awareness of all things eco friendly has inspired me to adopt a number of greener habits.  It’s easy to take little steps and fun to learn new ways to do things that are healthier.
