If you like music why not make your own? Music is not made merely from the instruments that produce the sounds, but from the passion and creativity of the person who plays the instrument. To have your own instrument is one thing, but you are still a long ways off and a lot of hard work away from being a rock star. In this article I will tell you how to explore your potential career of being a musician by explaining how to make your own bottle cap tambourine.

Materials:

-  One “Y” or "U" Shaped Stick

-  Plastic Bottle Caps

-  String

Instructions:

Step one:

Remove the plastic from the inside of your bottle cap (parental supervision required), then flatten the caps out using a hammer, finally bore a hole in the center of each bottle cap using a nail.

Step two:

Tie one end of your string to one of the arms of your stick.

Step three:

Put the string through the holes in your bottle caps and then tie off the string to the other arm of your stick.

Step four:

Decorate your tambourine using paint and other materials.

Step five:

Make music!
