Did you know February 20^th is National Love Your Pet Day?

While we doubt you need advice on loving your pet, we thought we'd give you some eco-friendly and natural ways to express your love for your furry, fluffy, adorable friends.

Our pets play many roles; best friend, confidant, companion, and giver of never failing love.  These traits are what make us love our pets more everyday.  Whether you have a dog, cat, parakeet, goldfish, or tarantula there are unique traits about pet that only you love and that make your bond so special.  Love Your Pet Day is a day to celebrate that special bond between man and his best friend.  Not that we need a special day to show our love for the pets in our lives, but why not take this opportunity to show a little extra love.

A scratch behind the ear, run in the park, or currling up on the coach, there are a plethora of activities and actions that show them we care.  But there are things in our daily pet care routine we can do that will show them we care and keep them around for a little bit longer.

Next time you give Wishbone a bath, try using a natural or organic pet wash.  It smells great and cleans without using harsh chemicals that can dry out the skin or be harmful for the environment.  And bathing Miss Kitty Fantastico doesn't have to be so scary anymore; using organic bath wipes helps to clean her up without taking a swim.

Eco-friendly and organic toys are another great way to show love for your pets.  Rather than giving your playful puppy a chemically manufactured toy, give them a natural, recycled, eco-friendly toy that is as safe as it is fun.  Though there are an abundance of dog toys there are also plenty of toys for your charming cats.  Organic Cat toys are a great toy for cats.  They keep them entertained, are safe, and filled with organic catnip that will keep your kittens happy for hours at a time.
